Snowy Hydro is committed to supporting the local communities of the Snowy Mountains.  While our operations continue to expand beyond the Scheme itself, the communities in which we operate remain critical to our success.  We aim to form partnerships to assist the sustainability and success of towns in our region.

One of the major ways in which we achieve this is through partnering with different local events or programs that not only help economically, but encourage people to come and experience the best our region has to offer.

Some of our local partnerships include:

Upper Murray Challenge
70 Years of Landrover - Easter 2018

Jindabyne Lake Light Sculpture
Tumut Festival of the Falling Leaf
Corryong 'Man from Snowy River' Festival
Tumbarumba's 'TumbaFest'
Talbingo's Jounama Fishing Classic
Snowy Mountains Trout Festival
mCcr - Monaro Committee for Cancer Research
Khancoban Poker Run
Batlow Ciderfest

Snowy Hydro and its people are as committed to the community, just as we were when the Scheme was constructed over 60 years ago.  Snowy Hydro sees a bright future for the region, where we will continue to grow with the communities that helped build the Snowy Mountains Scheme.
