When can I apply?

The 75th Anniversary Community Grants Fund will launch on 4 June and close on 12 August 2024.

What types of initiatives will the funding support?

Snowy Hydro is looking to support local community groups who wish to celebrate 75 years of the Snowy Scheme. This could include community events or projects which celebrate the shared milestone, signage or commemorative plaques, projects and reunion-style events celebrating the former workforce and Snowy families.

Who is eligible to apply?

Eligible organisations and community groups include:
Those located within the Snowy Monaro, Snowy Valleys or Towong local government areas.
Not-for-profit community groups or organisations that hold an Australian Business Number (ABN).

What criteria will my application be assessed against?

To maintain a consistent and transparent assessment process, all eligible applications will be assessed and scored against the following criteria:

2. Show how the project will engage and benefit the local community.
3. Strive to be inclusive, ensuring participation from a diverse cross-section of the community.
4. Provide a clear and realistic plan for execution, including timelines, budgets, and resources required. A budget outlining the use of the grant funds must be provided.
